In just one week Rosie and I will be heading off on our next adventure. We are more than ready. I've given my notice at work, I've given away most of my possessions, I've had my backpack packed since Saturday and I've eaten up all the random food left in the cupboards and freezer. The only thing left to do is count down the last few days and then actually leave!
On our trip last year we got a lot of complaints that we never sent any photos and that we disappeared out of contact for days/weeks at a time. (It's not easy finding Internet or phone signal in the outback you know - most of the time we were busy trying to find fuel for the van and water that we could drink)!
Anyway, this time we thought we would do our best to update this blog and share our adventures as they happen. It should be easier this time because we are predicting that the USA, Japan and Vietnam will all have better Internet service than much of Australia.
We will be dividing duties the same way as we did last year: I wrote the travel diary and Rosie was in charge of editing the photos. Usually this means that any unflattering photos of me get left in and all of Rosie's are deleted. But, in return I get to write about any embarrassing events that happen to Rosie and skip over my own. Haha!
